BD2 Version 4 User Interface
Bridge Designer II is a powerful analysis tool. It provides Bridge Designers the capability of evaluating various geometric and construction options. In the process, it requires a large amount of geometric and mechanical data and produces a large quantity of important information regarding the construction of the structure and the behavior in-service.

BD2 Version 4 has a new Windows user interface engineered to be very intuitive for new users while providing exceptional productivity benefits during the design cycle.

• BD2 Assistant Wizard
The new Assistant Wizard allows users to access BD2’s high level of embedded intelligence to quickly populate the project database with default model values.

• Sub-Structuring and Parametric Models
Divide and conquer – Setup “Sub-Structures” for faster processing and more intuitive approach to project design consistent with your construction sequence. You will quickly and elegantly conceive parametric bridge models such as spans or cantilevers, saving hours of data entry by conventional means.

• Compelling Graphical Capabilities and Interoperability
Quickly generate, display and save graphical reports of specific analysis results of interest. Check horizontal curvature of 3D model with convenient visualization features, custom or standard 3D views with optional partial transparency and export drawings to your firm’s CAD environment. For seasoned BD2 users as well as designers new to BD2, Import and Export capabilities will provide full compatibility with other BD2 versions and other software products.
